Ryan & Yeji are two of the sweetest people and I’m so happy to have met them through my work. We travelled out past the city for their Birds Hill engagement shoot and it was so much fun. It was a gorgeous evening in Winnipeg with a lovely sunset & many laughs. They happily trampled through a field of burrs to get to a gorgeous spot that I had seen. The fields were gorgeous, the trees were lush and our evening was warm and full of good memories. We got such a powerful, golden sunset and it made the photos so warm and welcoming, my favourite kind of photos. Their wedding will be in India this summer and I am so happy for them!
This shoot was one of my first at Birds Hill and after shooting there, I can’t imagine why I hadn’t gone there earlier. It’s absolutely one of Winnipeg’s most beautiful locations. There are so many different locations within the park, that easily, no two photo shoots will ever look the same. I love exploring new and old locations, coming up with something new and creative to spark my soul. Engagement shoots are my favourite because I get to know my couples and what makes their relationship unique.
