Jenn & Alex’s Romantic Celebration at The Gables Wedding Barn

When I think of a romantic autumn wedding, I think of Jenn and Alex’s day. The wind howled strongly that day but they just went with it! Nothing adds more passion to photos than a good, strong breeze! The Gables Wedding Barn is such a lovely setting and such a wonderful break from whatever weather Manitoba decides to throw your way. One thing we all can agree on is that your wedding day should be filled with you. Jenn and Alex included their sweet rescue dog, Branca in their portraits. She is a huge part of their lives and to have their wedding day without her just wasn’t a possibility! She had a custom flower collar and posed perfectly for their portraits. Although, I would say most of the credit for her perfect behaviour had to go to Bark Wedding Date. During their portraits, she had treats behind the camera and took care of Branca throughout the day, so Jenn and Alex could enjoy their day to the fullest!

My best piece of advice for enjoying your wedding day

One of my favourite tips for your wedding day is to factor in ways to spend time with your guests. You spend so much time planning the perfect day. At the end of the day, what truly makes it perfect is getting to enjoy this day to the fullest! This is why I’m a huge advocate for month-of coordination and dog dates!
