Michael & Tasha
It was a complete honour to be a witness to Michael and Tasha’s wedding day. Their Manitoba winter wedding was full of so much joy and laughter. Seeing the church full with smiling faces as everyone waited to see Tasha (and the adorable kids) walk down the aisle was absolutely heartwarming. I loved how they created their wedding day; with everything they loved and nothing they didn’t. Tons of time to hang out with family and even more time for Ukrainian dancing at the end of the night! Tasha and I joked all morning how she looked like complete royalty and that just seemed to play out perfectly throughout the day. When we saw “The Queen” sign in the getting ready house we knew it must be true!
One of my (many) favourite parts of the day was Michael’s speech. He told the same story he told me two years ago when I first met them about Tasha’s funny sense of humour in trying to get a ring. She had told him that he had until Christmas Day to propose or she was leaving him (was she serious? I don’t even know haha!) and Michael finished that story saying that he waited until 11pm Christmas Eve to propose. I just find this so funny!
Michael & Tasha, I know you two will never be bored together and I wish you so much happiness! I hope you never lose your spark and always keep poking fun at each other. Congratulations, I am sooo happy for you two!
