Styled Winter Wedding Shoot
This stunning styled winter wedding shoot was such a dream, despite how terribly cold it was that day! It was early December in Manitoba and it was just downright unpleasant! However everyone involved were all so willing to face the windchill for these photos. Thank goodness! The day involved dozens of car warmups and a fair bit of running around (mostly Kyra) to keep warm. Julie & Kyra, thanks so much for being such pretty models and for toughing out the cold!
One of the things I love most about styled shoots is the opportunity to meet and work with so many amazing vendors around Winnipeg! Kendra Deanne was kind enough to style the girls hair and she did such an amazing job, as usual! Shelby blew me away with the makeup and it was super fun to work together because she is actually one of my brides for this summer! All of the gorgeous flowers including the sweet blooms in Kyra’s hair were from Earth Buds Florist in Winkler. I happened to meet my own lovely wedding coordinator through this shoot, Sheila from Inspired Elegance Events. Seriously, I had no idea what I was missing out on! I need her so bad! The stunning jewelry pieces near the end of the post are all from my favourite local company, Jillian Leigh Jewelry! I can never say enough good things about Jill! And last but definitely not least, this whole shoot came about because of The Undressed. Karleece is the mastermind behind it all and she takes old dresses and repurposes them into beautiful, modern dresses like the ones in this shoot!
